World renowned WWE NXT Champion, Ethan Page, has expressed his exhilaration as the gold brand is set to make its move to The CW Network, a collaboration he anticipates will have major impact.
NXT is bidding farewell to its home of five years, the USA Network, and will begin its fresh chapter with The CW Network starting from its October 1st show.
During a recent episode of the podcast “Insight”, Page voiced his enthusiasm about the upcoming transition to The CW. He said,
“So huge. Just the viewership alone. You are growing in one day it’s like, oh, we’re going from this amount of people being able to see you to this amount of people being able to see you. Selfishly, I’m excited, as company wide, like CW seems very proactive with teaming up with us to promote this as something huge.”
“When you have the network that’s excited to have wrestling to be promoted, I mean, obviously we’re excited about it. I think it’s going to be a very big collaboration.”
Page will put his NXT Championship on the line in the inaugural episode airing on October 1st, in a battle officiated by CM Punk, with Trick Williams as his opponent.
The upcoming episode will also feature Giulia vying against NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez. An exciting street fight between Wes Lee and TNA’s Zachary Wentz is also slated for the show.
