Ex-WWE NXT World Champion, Ethan Page, has openly expressed his resentment towards CM Punk. He points to Punk as the cause of his unhappiness following events that transpired during the debut of NXT on The CW Network.
During the climactic main event, Punk was the referee who tallied the pinfall which resulted in the end of Page’s reign as NXT World Champion – a victory that was handed to Trick Williams.
Page has taken to social media to voice his disdain, using his daughter as a backdrop for his messages. He insinuated that Punk is a detrimental presence not only to his personal life, but also in creating discord within locker rooms.
On Twitter, Page posted:

Punk’s notorious reputation of causing issues within locker rooms came to a head at All Out 2022. Here, he was involved in a backstage brawl with The Elite, causing several players to be suspended.
In other news, Punk’s next scheduled match is set for this upcoming weekend. He is slated to take on Drew McIntyre inside the notorious Hell in a Cell at WWE Bad Blood 2024.
