Eric Young Wouldn’t Have Expected Impact Return Six Months Ago

Eric Young is thrilled to be back with Impact Wrestling, something he wouldn’t have imagined just six months ago.

Young made his return to Impact at Slammiversary 2023 last month, after a brief return to WWE that saw him never return to programming.

Speaking on the “Battleground Podcast,” Young reflected on his return to Impact Wrestling. He said,

“I found myself walking down that ramp, standing beside one of my best friends for the last 25-30 years, one of the guys that helped me get my first job in Impact Wrestling, donning the red of the Canadian flag and the Maple Leaf which is a place I was born and raised. [It was] A very good turnout for Impact Wrestling. A massive reaction and that is not lost on me, man.”

Young is a two-time former Impact World Champion, one-time X-Division Champion, four-time TNA/Impact World Tag Team Champion, and a former WWE NXT Tag Team Champion.
