Batista Joins Quibi’s Princess Bride ‘Fan Film’

Mobile-based streaming service Quibi has released a charity-focused reinterpretation of cult classic film The Princess Bride, featuring scenes redone by celebrities. The shots are all seemingly done from quarantine in the actor’s backyards, and the scenes fit in with Quibi’s shortened “Quick Bite” episodes. Batista reached out on social media with a clip of him stepping into the shoes of Andre the Giant opposite David Spade.

I'm honored to work with @JasonReitman supporting Chef José Andrés' @wckitchen with @DavidSpade @RainnWilson @JasonSegel! Thanks to a $1 million donation from @Quibi, 100,000 meals were funded! Check out our homemade fan film the Princess Bride! https://t.co/HR27NkWesx pic.twitter.com/JqWksCt9B2
