Wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Fame inductee, Eric Bischoff, has disclosed that he is not currently bound by a WWE Legends contract, regardless of his ongoing involvement with the promotion via WWE NXT.
Bischoff recently surfaced during the previous week’s program where he shared a segment with Trick Williams and Ridge Holland. This came after a video segment from Bischoff one week prior, aired on NXT.
In a recent episode of his personal podcast, “83 Weeks”, Bischoff clarified that he does not hold a Legends contract with WWE, despite making multiple appearances. To quote Bischoff:
“I don’t even have a Legends agreement with WWE. I did two WWE episodes. One on NXT and one for the WWE on the A&E Network. Then 48 hours later, I’m on an MLW show, who, by the way, was in a lawsuit with WWE.”
“I don’t have a written agreement with anybody. I don’t even have a handshake deal with anybody.”
Eric Bischoff became a part of the WWE clan in 2022 as the General Manager of RAW, a position he held full-time up until 2005. He has since made occasional appearances on WWE programming.
Tony Khan, AEW President, has recently spoken up about his opinions on Bischoff following years of jabs from the wrestling hall of famer. To learn more about Khan’s stance, click here.
