In a recent episode of the “Wrestling Shoot Interviews” podcast, Eric Bischoff shared his insights about Randy Orton, an acclaimed professional wrestler. Bischoff opined that Orton has an inherent ability to communicate more through a simple look than what The Young Bucks, AEW Executive Vice Presidents, can express in a prime-level wrestling contest.
Bischoff, while on the podcast, detailed his respect for Orton’s unique talents. He uttered,
“[Randy Orton is] One of the best. It’s unfortunate that the average wrestling fan isn’t searching for the subtleties. Many don’t notice them, but if you genuinely appreciate professional wrestling’s art form, you’d be aware that observing Randy Orton for a 15-minute wrestling match can deliver more value than what most wrestlers can physically offer.
Bischoff continued, “Randy Orton can achieve more with a swift look than The Young Bucks can in a headliner match on a pay-per-view event.”
Over the years, Bischoff’s criticism of AEW has been severe. Alongside The Young Bucks, he has frequently scrutinized Tony Khan’s booking style. In the case of Orton, he made his comeback to WWE Television last November following an 18-month hiatus owing to a back injury and has been a constant presence on SmackDown.
Bischoff, in a surprising move, made an appearance on the recent episode of WWE NXT and will also be featured in the forthcoming week’s episode in person.
