WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff has praised Becky Lynch’s recent return to NXT, a run that saw The Man capture the NXT Women’s Championship.
Lynch captured the gold during the September 12, 2023, episode of WWE NXT, and defended the title on NXT programming as well as at WWE live events.
On “Strictly Business” Bischoff called Lynch’s return to the gold brand a “great story” that has benefitted NXT as a whole. He added,
“It didn’t take anything away from Becky, but it allowed Becky to share some of her value and equity and raise the level of the talent that she was working with.
“That’s how you use talent correctly, established talent, when you’re working with younger talent. Just throwing them out there for the sake of throwing them out there is not going to get you to where you want to be, it’s a waste of great talent.”
During last week’s NXT Halloween Havoc: Night One, Lynch’s reign was ended at the hands of fellow Irish Superstar Lyra Valkyria.
