In a recent episode of his popular “83 Weeks” podcast, Eric Bischoff shared his thoughts on Brock Lesnar and speculation about his future in professional wrestling. His comments were,
“It’s impossible to predict. Brock is one of a kind. He’s amassed such wealth that he might have enough to sustain him for the next three lifetimes… His children may never exhaust the fortune that Brock has accumulated, and apart from the money, Brock has a deep love for farming. From what I hear, that’s where he truly finds his peace, his heart’s delight.
“I’m not close to Brock, and I’m not sure if there’s a need for him to consider a return. It’s ultimately a matter of desire, and eventually, the drive just isn’t there anymore. What else is left for Brock to pursue that he hasn’t accomplished a dozen times in the past dozen years?”
Lesnar has not graced the WWE stage since his loss to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023, which was the third in a series of pay-per-view matches between the duo.
Notably, earlier this year, Lesnar’s name was removed from all WWE campaigns due to being implicated in a sexual trafficking lawsuit filed by Janel Grant.
Reports suggest that Lesnar was previously planned to take on Dominik Mysterio at Elimination Chamber: Perth and take the ring against GUNTHER at WrestleMania 40.
In July of this year, WWE was allegedly advised by their legal department to maintain a distance from Brock due to his involvement in the lawsuit.
Although Lesnar’s name is not directly mentioned in the lawsuit, the document does make reference to a former UFC Heavyweight Champion. The Wall Street Journal has verified that Lesnar is indeed the individual alluded to.
