Taking to Twitter recently, Eric Bischoff replied to a tweet from a fan, who suggested that AEW may execute a double-turn for CM Punk and ROH Television Champion Samoa Joe on the premiere episode of AEW Collision, which would lead to Punk joining ‘Bullet Club Gold’, while Joe would align himself with AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR.

Bischoff, who has been involved in a real-life feud with Punk for an eternity, fired shots at Punk’s injury-proneness and claimed,

“Clearly Punk needs to surround himself in a tag or a group. He’s not over enough to carry anything by himself and the camouflage is safe. Avoids having to work an entire match and protects his fragility.”

In fact, speaking on his “Strictly Business” podcast, Bischoff, discussing Punk’s impending return, went as far as to say,

“CM Punk has set himself up for just a dramatic failure.”
