Eric Bischoff Hits Out At ‘Legend In Own Mind’ Lance Storm – ‘He Never Accomplished Anything’

While Eric Bischoff and Lance Storm shared many years on the WCW roster, the relationship between the two is far from friendly. ‘Easy-E’ is seemingly not an admirer of the accomplished Canadian wrestler.

In an interview with James Romero for WSI, Bischoff was invited to share his thoughts on various WCW stars, and he didn’t mince words when it came to Lance Storm. He stated,

“He’s a legend in his own mind. He is likely a decent person, as I’ve interacted with him a few times, but he never truly achieved anything noteworthy. He’s an exceedingly outspoken individual, with his only accomplishment being his time in the wrestling industry.”

In spite of Bischoff’s comments, Storm had a successful career in WCW, earning several titles, which included three U.S. Champion reigns. Interestingly, he often recast the championships he won with a Canadian aesthetic.

Following the discontinuation of WCW, Storm migrated to WWE in 2001 as part of the Invasion storyline. Meanwhile, Bischoff was revealed as RAW’s General Manager the following year.

Post-2005, Storm ended his WWE stint and went on to establish a wrestling school, a venture that Bischoff suggested was better suited to Storm’s skills than wrestling. He further commented,

“Though he seems like a good guy and likely possesses a unique insight into wrestler training, which is essentially what he’s spent most of his career doing, his stint in front of the camera in WCW or WWE was, in my opinion, far from remarkable.”
