In a recent visit to “The MMA Hour” podcast, Eric Bischoff hinted at the possibility of his association with MLW likely being a one-off event, but he quickly added that “anything could materialize.”

Tonight’s MLW: One Shot, produced by Bischoff, will be available for streaming on YouTube.

Here are some snippets of his interaction from the podcast:

On his connection with MLW: “It’s probable that my involvement will be single time, primarily because of travel complexities. However, anything is possible. I’ve always been an impulsive person and have realized over time, and more so now as I have aged and perhaps grown wiser, that I love working hard but only when it’s fun. At the moment, I’m quite content and feel grateful, so I’m fine. But who knows, there may be surprises.”

Concerning his nostalgia for wrestling: “If there is anything I miss, it would be interacting with the talent. The journey of aiding someone struggling with backstage promos or in-ring performances, guiding them to conquer their fears, and instructing them on the art of communication in-ring or backstage, has always been captivating. I miss directing and producing talent.”

About the lack of creative collaboration: “The absence of creative collaboration, something I used to do in TNA, is what I miss the most. The joy of brainstorming around a table, churning out ideas and modifying them has always been exhilarating. Even with the right team, it can get exhausting, but with the right chemistry, creative collaboration provides the most satisfying experiences I’ve had in professional wrestling.”

In his previous appearance on the “Busted Open After Dark” podcast, Bischoff expressed his view that his activity on WWE NXT the previous Tuesday benefited Trick Williams and Ridge Holland.

Some highlights from that podcast are as follows:

On his contribution to Trick Williams and Ridge Holland: “In NXT, potential superstars train to attain their ultimate form for Raw or SmackDown. This implies learning to cope in pressure situations. Looking back, I believe, I did them a favor that day by introducing such pressure-cooker situations that could help them manage themselves better.”

About the lesson learnt by Holland and Williams: “They got a firsthand experience last night about the importance of ‘self-control’. Ridge, in particular, needs to check his anger as he was the chief aggressor causing major chaos. Trick, too, needs to learn from this. So, despite the serious consequences, I appreciate the fact that I could aid them in progressing their careers.”
