In a recent episode of his podcast “83 Weeks”, WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff weighed in on AEW’s plans to host All In Texas at Globe Life Field in 2025 and also addressed reports regarding AEW organizing a stadium show in Australia. Here’s what he had to say.

Regarding AEW’s decision to host All In Texas at Globe Life Field, he noted his mixed feelings. While he finds the idea intriguing, he does question the business logic behind hosting a show in such a large venue given their average audience count. He nonetheless admits he’s not privy to all the details and that AEW might have a plan. Opting to wait and watch, Bischoff acknowledges that while he’s been involved in the wrestling industry for more than three decades, his insights aren’t always accurate.

Addressing rumors of AEW planning a stadium show in Australia, Bischoff does see potential risks. Considering the history of Australian promotions and the sizeable costs associated with hosting shows in the country, Bischoff expressed concern. He pointed out that the wrestling company has limited exposure there, mostly limited to hardcore wrestling fans who know about it online. Questioning the feasibility of filling an arena with 10,000 seats, Bischoff also mentioned the high cost of living in the country which could lead to high ticket prices. Unless there’s a special plan, he can’t foresee success for AEW in Australia but still is excited by the prospect.

Bischoff does caution that much of what is heard from Tony Khan and AEW is hype and warns that announcements suggesting momentum and growth can spur misguided impressions. While he can’t reject or validate such claims completely due to his external position, he called for greater caution and less reliance on internet buzz for gauging company success.
