Endeavor’s Mark Shapiro Reveals He Wasn’t Aware Of WWE Deal Until Last Weekend

As we previously reported here on eWn, WWE has been acquired by the Endeavor Group and will merge with the UFC as a new company. The transaction is expected to be completed later this year.

In an interview with Puck, Endeavor COO Mark Shapiro noted he didn’t know about it until last Saturday. 

He also talked about upcoming WWE media rights negotiations as their deals with USA Network for Raw and FOX for SmackDown are up in 2024. 

“There’s no question that when Nick (Khan) goes in to renew his domestic deals, having us at the table, with our relationships and our portfolio of assets, will be helpful in the process.”
