Ember Moon Thinks Raquel Gonzalez Is Overlooking Her

Ember Moon is set to challenge Raquel Gonzalez for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT TakeOver: In Your House this Sunday. A few days before the bout, Moon spoke on WWE’s The Bump to preview the match. Moon explained that she feels like Gonzalez is overlooking her.

“She’s beaten me once, she put me on the shelf for a hot minute, and I’m not really happy about that,” said Moon. “And I think shes aiming to do so again.

“I think she’s extremely arrogant and cocky coming off her win with Io Shirai to win the NXT Women’s Championship.”

The former champion argued that, though Gonzalez has gotten the better of her in the past, she has spent the last year honing her skills and preparing to take down the reigning NXT Women’s Champion.

LA Knight Is Ready To Follow In Steve Austin’s Footsteps

LA Knight’s NXT career didn’t get off to the best start, but the charismatic superstar is still maintaing his usual bravado ahead of NXT TakeOver: In Your House on Sunday. During a segment on the newest episode of WWE’s The Bump, Knight likened himself to the legendary “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. He reminded everyone that Austin was chosen as Ted DiBiase’s Million Dollar Champion, he went on a legendary run in the company.

Knight boasted that if he wins the title and follows a similar trajectory in his career, he’ll take it to another level.

He also admitted that his inner child came out on Tuesday night when he was in the same ring as the Million Dollar Championship.

“I’ve been watching this since I was a kid,” said Knight. “So you see that belt sitting out there, first of all, there’s a little bit of shock in the fact that hey, man, I watched this guy run around with this belt when I was a wee fella.

“Now [I’m] just thinking about the fact that I can take that and surpass any levels expected.”
