Ember Moon Reportedly Suffers Leg Injury, Possibly Out For A Year

WWE’s War Goddess has not had a smooth time gaining momentum since her call-up from NXT. Back in January, Ember suffered an injury that took her out until April’s WrestleMania 35. Although she did wrestle Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Title at SummerSlam, she hasn’t made much of an impact since the event, and it seems that there’s more bad news ahead.

In The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reports that Ember Moon suffered a leg injury that’s taken her out of action since her last appearance on RAW on Sep. 23.

Moon will be out of action for a decent length of time with either an ankle or an Achilles injury. The latter is really nasty, as that can be close to a year. Ankle wouldn’t be nearly as bad

While WWE hasn’t come out to confirm the injury as of yet, Ember Moon is not among the wrestlers eligible for Friday’s WWE Draft, so she is officially on the shelf for the time being.
