Ember Moon joined Renee Young, Booker T, and Mark Henry on Tuesday’s WWE Backstage episode on FS1. During the segment, she talked about matches that they would like to do redo due to poor performances.
While looking back, the topic of her being sidelined due to a torn Achilles was brought up. Of course, she has been out of action since last September when she suffered the injury while doing a segment involving the WWE 24/7 Title.
The injury occurred in the segment where she was running and had to stop quickly.
“I look back at my career in WWE. I’ve been here [for] five years. I look back, I should have been the one to defeat Asuka’s streak, or ‘man, me and Bayley from SummerSlam, I wish I’d done more.’ The more and more I sit back and look at everything I’d redo. I think about my injury currently.
Realizing that I may have a career-ending injury. I’m coming back from the hardest injury and I might not have a chance to redeem myself of all the things I wanted to do in my future. It’s so hard to look back and regret when I try to look forward.”
Moon stated that she’s looking forward because wrestling is her love and the only thing that she’s wanted to do. She stated that she doesn’t want to look back but rather forward, which is a hard thing to do.
Moon ended the segment by saying that she is going to prove to everyone that she’s worth redeeming those mistakes and those regrets but admitted that “It’s just going to be a while before I do so.”
