During GCW Homecoming, EFFY had an unexpected confrontation with JBL. Recently, he elaborated on the idea of going against the WWE Hall of Famer in a potential matchup.
While conversing with “MuscleManMalcolm” in a forthcoming interview, EFFY talked about JBL’s intrusion in the recent GCW match that led to Mance Warner retaining his World Championship title.
Below are a few standout points from the conversation:
Regarding JBL’s assault: “I was clotheslined twice by Him. It’s almost comical if not for the pain EFFY has to bear. It appears as if everyone wants a piece of EFFY, albeit them not expressing it. People don’t want to publicly take a stand and praise EFFY’s work or how EFFY has been a pillar in the wrestling world. All they wish for is to interact with me. There’s no need for brutality to make contact with me. I’m certain the whole thing is a setup by Cardona. It’s just a hunch. Regardless of which authorities need to be alerted, I will get to Mance Warner, even if it involves crossing paths with JBL. I wonder where I went wrong?
On the prospect of a face-off with JBL: “JBL is quite aged now. I honestly believe I respect and understand my seniors now more than ever. However, I also need to consider the potential benefits EFFY might gain from a match with JBL, and vice versa. Currently, things seem slightly slanted. I need to mentally prepare for this. I would prefer the face-off to happen on my terms. There’s a lot of sorting out to do. I have a long list of rivals to handle first.”
