Former AEW Continental Classic Champion, Eddie Kingston, revealed on Instagram that he is wearing a brace due to a fractured tibia, sustained at NJPW Resurgence in May. His return to wrestling is not yet scheduled.
In a separate interview, pro-wrestler Juice Robinson expressed that he deems wrestling as an opportunity to get “real crazy”. He voices his perspective of feeling like he’s “hanging off the cliff of sanity by a thread” and referred to his time in the ring as an outlet to become “an absolute lunatic”, embracing the intensity of pro-wrestling. Robinson is currently a member of the Bang Bang Gang in AEW.
Meanwhile, in a conversation with “Gabby AF”, QT Marshall shared an anecdote about aiding CM Punk with his gear during last year’s WWE holiday tour, following a request from Cody Rhodes. Marshall lent Punk a pair of black trunks for his return to the ring at the Garden and the LA Forum. Marshall jokes that while he’d like his trunks back, he’s not sure if Punk even knows they were his, as Rhodes had also provided a pair.
Marshall emphasised his willingness to help those in the wrestling community and expressed his love for the sport, stating, “Imagine all those fans that bought tickets to the Garden, they were already mad that he was just wearing black trunks, I remember like reading about it because of course they were like, ‘He didn’t come back in gear.’ It’s like, you don’t know the real story, you especially don’t know the real real story.”
