Eddie Kingston Answers Cody Rhodes’ Open Challenge For No DQ Match

Eddie Kingston answered Cody Rhodes’ open challenge for the TNT Championship and requested a No DQ stipulation.

The veteran wrestler cut a passionate promo about his background and differences from Rhodes. Despite the fire in Kingston, he wasn’t able to keep up with Rhodes inside the ring without some tricks. The former Evolve Tag Team Champion had a few moments, though, such as taking Rhodes’ weight belt and then hitting him with it.

Kingston eventually dumped thumbtacks into the ring and was able to throw Rhodes into them. Despite the pain, Rhodes came back in the match and locked in a figure four leglock that forced Kingston to tap.
