During a recent guest appearance on the “WrestleRant” podcast, professional wrestler Rey Mysterio spoke at length about the lasting legacy of his celebrated friend, the late Eddie Guerrero, who is famed in the wrestling fraternity and holds a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame. Mysterio touched upon how Jahre had left a profound impression that stays alive long after his passing.
Highlighted excerpts from Mysterio’s insightful interview can be found below:
Discussing Eddie Guerrero’s spirit enduring, Mysterio said, “Evidently, I can proclaim that his spirit continues to live on. We’ve been witnessing this since he sadly departed in 2005. The Eddie cheers that ring out from time to time, the snippets and clips from his prolific career that surface every now and then, speak volumes about the love he continues to receive.”
Opining on what Guerrero might have achieved had he still been around, Mysterio mused, “Eddie’s tenure with WWE was surprisingly short. Imagining Eddie still amongst us is overwhelming. He would have achieved unprecedented milestones over the past two decades, that’s a given. But, I cherish the fact that his spirit continues to inspire and will forever do so.”
