The WWE is set to air a special installment of NXT on Wednesday, November 6, from the historic 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, once known as the ECW Arena. The event will be broadcasted live on The CW starting from 8 p.m. ET.
As previously reported by eWn, ECW veteran Bubba Ray Dudley is likely to appear at the NXT show. During XNT Halloween Havoc 2024, Dudley came to the aid of NXT Champion Trick Williams, defending his title against Ethan Page in the epic main event.
In the aftermath of the match, Trick Williams was attacked by Ridge Holland and Page. However, Dudley stepped in and forced the attackers to retreat. While not officially announced, WWE might arrange a tag team match for the NXT event at the 2300 Arena.
The up-and-coming Tony D’Angelo expressed his excitement for the event during a recent conversation with “The Takedown.” He expressed his hopes to see several ECW originals at the event, with a special mention of the FBI faction.
In D’Angelo’s words, “I’m unable to speak on the company’s behalf as far as that goes, but do I selfishly want that to happen? Absolutely. I think that would be very cool, especially with all the history that FBI has in that building. I think it would be great for the D’Angelo Family to work with the FBI. We’ll see what Nunzio is doing. Maybe I’ll give him a call. I know a few guys that he works with, so maybe we can put something together.”
The storied Full Blooded Italians group (FBI) included renowned wrestling personalities like Nunzio, Tony Mamaluke, Big Sal E. Graziano, Vito, Tracy Smothers, among others.
