The WWE is on a upward trajectory following the recent shift of NXT to the CW Network. With three episodes under its belt in this latest partnership, WWE is scheduling a special episode next month, at none other than the birthplace of ECW.
Recently, WWE let out that it will go about filming an episode of their NXT brand at the famed 2300 Arena in Philadelphia on November 6. This is due to the fact that the US Presidential election coverage will be held the night before, leading to the live airing of the episode on Wednesday, coincidentally the same day as AEW Dynamite.
The anticipation associated with the upcoming November 6th NXT filming is immense, with pre-sale tickets reportedly being bought out within mere minutes.
Pwinsider has revealed that WWE Hall of Famer and original ECW member Bubba Ray Dudley, also known as Bully Ray, will grace the NXT filming on November 6 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia with his presence. Dudley is also slated to grant VIP ticket holders a meet and greet, which includes a unique package complete with a commemorative chair.
The forthcoming NXT filming at the 2300 Arena marks WWE’s first live show at this location since an ECW house show took place at the venue in 2006. WWE has also held a distinctive meet-and-greet session in the arena during the weekend of WrestleMania 40, featuring stars like The Dudley Boyz and Al Snow.
