During the most recent episode of AEW Dynamite, viewers were in for a treat as they witnessed an intense four-way match involving ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey, Orange Cassidy, Mark Davis, and Ricochet. The competitor securing the victory was set to step into the ring against the imposing Kenny Omega for the International Championship in AEW Dynasty 2025.
In a thrilling finale, both Bailey and Ricochet managed to outmaneuver Mark Davis, as Ricochet cleverly manipulated himself into the pinning move right in the nick of time. With no clear victor, the referee, Bryce Remsburg, decided to allow both Bailey and Ricochet to proceed and face Omega at AEW Dynasty.
While having a chat on the popular “Busted Open Radio” podcast, wrestling legend Tommy Dreamer took the time to identify three AEW villains who, according to him, hold unprecedented “nuclear heat.” He elaborated saying,
“Looking at top-notch villains, AEW possesses Christian Cage — who manifests nuclear heat. MJF — another hot player, oozing nuclear heat occasionally. Don Callis — he’s got an aura of thermo-nuclear heat, chiefly because folks are aware that whatever is happening with Donald, it’s entirely authentic.”
