Next month at WrestleMania 41, held in Las Vegas, Charlotte Flair is set to battle Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s World Title.
In the recent “Busted Open Radio” podcast episode, renowned ECW veteran, Tommy Dreamer, expressed his thoughts on the ongoing clash between Flair and Stratton. According to Dreamer, the tension between them “needs more.”
Dreamer expressed, “[The buildup] Needs more. It’s not lackluster, but it certainly needs more. In my analysis of this… I would amplify the acrimony and even push Tiffany to tears, essentially forcing her to break her self-absorbed persona. I would encourage Charlotte to be uncharacteristically ruthless, resulting in a tearful Tiffany. There’s a concept in the movie Mean Girls; let’s make Charlotte the ‘mean girl.’ This approach may resonate with the audience and position Tiffany as a more relatable figure. It’s not always about physicality, at times, emotional battles can create an intriguing storyline. Ultimately, I see Tiffany delivering a fitting response to Charlotte’s provocations, either by an intense smackdown or knocking her out cold.”
On the “Insight” podcast, during his recent visit, JD McDonagh shared his initial experiences being part of the WWE main roster and his inclusion in Judgment Day.
McDonagh made his way onto the RAW roster in 2023.
McDonagh recounts, “When I was promoted to the main card, I was simply informed that they planned on launching me via Judgment Day. Their idea was to observe the fan reaction and adjust accordingly. There was an existing connection with Finn which we could exploit, but there wasn’t any predefined plan for my role in Judgment Day. It felt like an organic opening for me. I was fortunate to share a strong camaraderie with all the group members. The fit felt right, which eventually led to my initiation by Priest.”
