EC3 Responds To Report About His Status For Upcoming ROH Event (Exclusive)

EC3 has already made an impact and now looks to control his narrative in a more “honorable” way.

Ring of Honor is ready to resume hosting television tapings this month and one interesting name that is going to part of things is EC3. According to a report from PWInsider on Wednesday, EC3 will make his first appearance on ROH programming when this content airs.

WrestleZone has also been able to confirm that report and EC3’s involvement in the ROH tapings in Baltimore. When asked directly for confirmation EC3 only said “there is more than one narrative to control.”

EC3 recently returned to IMPACT Wrestling after he was released from WWE earlier this year, but publicly stated that he is not currently under contract with the promotion, leaving him open to appear where he chooses. EC3 is currently in the early stages of a feud with Moose over the TNA Championship and is being teased for this week’s show in a follow-up to him stealing the title.

Ring Of Honor will adhere to a very stringent protocol as well as the regulations set in place by the Maryland State Athletic Commission when they return to TV with this week’s tapings. ROH will be instituting the necessary testing and safety measures in a continued effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19; fans and non-essential staff will not be permitted on site.

“Taking care of our people during this difficult time has been and still is our No. 1 priority,” ROH Chief Operating Officer Joe Koff said. “That’s why we have spent many weeks working alongside the Maryland State commission in gearing towards our return to producing wrestling action. The strictest of protocols, testing and measures will be in place to assure us of this directive.”

These new tapings will pick up right where ROH left off with a focus on the ROH Pure Title Tournament, which had been originally scheduled for April.
