Dustin Rhodes Wants To Tag With Cody To Face The Von Erichs

If one phrase holds true in the “one true sport” of professional wrestling, “never say never” would indeed be that phrase.
Dustin Rhodes caught wind of a fan’s fantasy booking and it pitted up “The Natural” and his brother Cody against the MLW World Tag Team Champions Ross and Marshall Von Erich in what would be a legacy tag match to remember. Dustin Tweeted out his support of such a match going down and MLW CEO Court Bauer did make note of serendipity going down in Dallas this January.

All Elite Wrestling and Major League Wrestling sure have their ties with one another. Jimmy Havoc and MJF wrestle for both promotions and it so happens that the Von Erichs to defeated MJF and his Dynasty brother Richard Holliday for the MLW Tag Titles back at Saturday Night Super-Fight in Chicago. Also, in a twist of irony, while in Chicago for Starrcast III earlier this year, Cody has shared some great praise for MLW while doing a panel with duel MLW/AEW announcing extraordinaire, Tony Schiavone.
