Dustin Rhodes, a prominent AEW international figure, recently took to his Twitter account to laud Swerve Strickland, who presently holds the AEW World Champion title. Rhodes described Strickland as a talent of his generation. Rhodes tweeted that Strickland is an exceptional talent who is as solid as they come, and that his HouseCall technique is by no means a laughing matter.

In the same tweet, Rhodes also spoke highly of Roderick Strong, describing him as a man with a rigid work ethic who is a force to be reckoned with. Rhodes predicted that a high-quality matchup on par with a PPV event will unfold this Wednesday on AEW Dynamite.

Rob Van Dam, in a recent edition of his podcast “1 Of A Kind,” had high praise for Mark Henry whom he referred to as an exceedingly good individual and one he was honoured to refer to as a friend. Van Dam commended Henry’s character, jovial nature, and sense of humour while reminiscing about their good times together.

Lastly, an announcement has been made about the KOPW Championship, which will be up for grabs at the forthcoming NJPW Dominion event this weekend. Current champion Yuya Uemura will face Great-O-Khan for the title at the June 9th event in a Storm Catch Rules Match. The unique rules stipulate a 15-minute time limit for the match, with each contestant being allowed only two rope breaks with disqualification as penalty.
