Dustin Rhodes is over the moon about his brother Cody’s success since returning to WWE but would be lying if he said he wasn’t a little bit jealous.
Cody has been WWE’s top babyface since his impactful return at WrestleMania 38 and his torn pectoral injury did little to slow his momentum.
Speaking to “The Wrestling Perspective” podcast, Dustin spoke about all his brother has accomplished, and said,
“To sit back now and watch Cody in his turn, in his prime, kicking ass and taking names and I’m just like, ‘Yeah, I’m a little jealous. He’s doing such a great job with that. That’s just the brotherly competition between us.”
In the interview, Dustin also spoke about wanting to prove WWE wrong, after Vince McMahon rejected the idea for the two brothers to compete at WrestleMania.
Cody Rhodes will face Brock Lesnar at WWE Backlash next weekend in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
