Drew McIntyre would love to become a three-time WWE World Champion but wishes to earn the right to challenge World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.
McIntyre hasn’t held championship gold since 2021, something that the Scottish Warrior hopes to change as he told “Essentially Sports.” He said,
“I want to make sure I get on a good run and earn the right to fight for the World title with Seth. And hopefully, get the right to become World Champion once again.”
McIntyre’s comments come amid speculation about his WWE future, with his deal reportedly set to expire around WrestleMania 40 next April.
Rollins has held the World Heavyweight Championship since May and has retained his title against the likes of Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura.
