Drew McIntyre Wants Big Matches Against Roman Reigns And Walter

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre emerged from his Clash of Champions Ambulance Match with Randy Orton as a clear victor. Since WrestleMania, the Scottish Superstar has conquered everything put in front of him, and Drew is eager to continue his dominance. In a conversation with Vicente Beltrán Díaz of ViBe & Wrestling, the WWE Champion revealed who his dream opponents would be in the future.
First off, when asked how he feels about the prospect of uniting the two world championships once again, Drew feels that there’s a good balance right now on both RAW and SmackDown. However, if things did need to change, he wouldn’t mind going after the Big Dog.
I would like to have a super match with Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship and create one dominant champion; that’d be a heck of a match. Roman is the guy who has proven his worth for years. He’s been absent for a little bit of time there and he has returned with a different attitude, a whole new look, bigger and stronger than he ever was, and he’s still that marquee player.
I’m at a point where I’m building myself up and I want to prove that I can be that top, top guy like Roman Reigns has. Inevitably, if we could have a Reigns vs. McIntyre title vs. title match, that’s as big as it gets.
Perhaps a match that is more likely in a future where travel is allowed is Drew McIntyre returning to his country of origin and taking on one of his old rivals head-on.
Yes, I’m bothering Triple H all the time, although I’m sure that I’m not the only one who bothers him, so that he lets me go to NXT here in America or more specifically to NXT UK but obviously, with the current restrictions it is not possible. I think my latest line is, I became WWE Champion, what else can I do? What I can do? Let me go to NXT UK! Give me a PPV in the UK and then let me go to NXT UK. Yes, the greatest match I could have is against WALTER, I think it would be very cool to save it for when the fans can get back in the building.
