Professional wrestler Drew McIntyre has taken to social media platform Twitter to respond to a recent WWE t-shirt design featuring CM Punk which has the inscription, “Clobber McIntyre Punk.”
In a manoeuvre seen as teasing CM Punk, McIntyre reminded him of his past statement that he would not leverage another wrestler’s name to market a t-shirt. He connected it to Punk’s well-known phrase from a notable promo, “Hey, Colt Cabana. How you doing?”
Expressing his thoughts on Twitter, McIntyre said, “‘I’ve never had to use another man’s name on a shirt to sell it.’ This ages as well as ‘hey Colt Cabana how’s it going?”
Fans anticipate a face-off between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk in the imminent WWE SummerSlam 2024, that’s set to take place at the Cleveland Browns Stadium situated in Cleveland, Ohio.
Embedded in his tweet McIntyre comments, “’I’ve never needed to use another man’s name on a shirt to sell it.’ Maturing just like ‘hey Colt Cabana how’s it going?’
