WWE Champion Drew McIntyre was the featured guest on The Bump hosted by Kayla Braxton. Drew, a very familiar face on The Bump got a good deal of run-ins from two of his closest friends that made the champ understandably emotional.

Sheamus was the first up to congratulate Drew on his big WrestleMania moment and although his well wishes were pre-recorded, that Irish spirit shined through to his Scotsman brother.

We continue down Drew’s WWE road with a visit from his fellow 3MB member, Heath Slater, who couldn’t help but fight tears when congratulating his friend as he stated the following:

“Man the only thing I have to say is, brother, I love you and I am so happy for you, but you know, all your family and your friends are happy, the WWE Universe is happy, but your mom’s very happy man. Like, I can feel that. I can feel it, you know, like it’s starting to come to my eyes, but I know she’s looking down and she’s happy and proud of you, man and just remember that.”

The champ teased that Braxton and crew were really trying to get to him with these surprise appearances and Kayla closed the questioning out by bringing up Tyson Fury who stated that he’d be more than willing to go after McIntyre and his WWE Championship when the time is right. Drew gave his and Fury’s social media exchange some context before saying that he’s more than happy to take on Fury where ever he wants, but not before he allows his colleagues the opportunity to do so first.

“He started it, number one. Number two, like I said earlier, our Superstars are getting the shot first cause they deserve it and they worked for it and number three, if he wants the match, that’s fine. If he wants it in the UK that’s fine. I don’t care. He’s got the deadly hands, but what’s he gonna do when I take him down and smash him? Cause when he’s on his back he’s nothin’.”
