During the most recent WWE RAW episode, a surprising altercation occurred as Drew McIntyre found himself under attack by CM Punk. As one might expect, McIntyre was hardly thrilled by this unexpected turn of events.
On his Twitter page, McIntyre responded saying,
“Point proven. CM Punk is a coward.”
The stage is now set for an intense confrontation between McIntyre and Punk, who are slated for a head-to-head in a Strap Match at the anticipated WWE Bash event in Berlin this coming Saturday.
Reportedly, Beth Phoenix, the esteemed WWE Hall of Famer, opened up about a distressing incident during her guest appearance on the podcast “Insight with Chris Van Vliet”. She shared her experience about sustaining a broken jaw a mere month after her 2006 debut in WWE. Her comments were deeply poignant:
“I jeopardized everything, renounced everything at that point, I hadn’t even started earning any significant money. I neglected family matters, wrestling became my sole focus and it detonated right before my eyes. I was sharing the stage with Trish Stratus, working with Mickie James and then everything came crashing down.”
Further information about her experiences can be gained from the embedded link to her interview.
