Drew McIntyre Isn’t Interested In A Transition To Acting Just Yet

Right now, Drew McIntyre’s main focus is WWE.
In the past, we have seen many top stars such as Hulk Hogan, John Cena, and The Rock attempt to take their squared circle stardom and parlay it into a career in acting. While all of those men have had varying degrees of success in their attempts, it has set forth a precedent for professional wrestlers to try their hand at acting.

Speaking with Bleacher Report, Drew McIntyre stated that at this time, he has no desire to branch out into acting but you never know what the future holds.
“Not right now, but you never know what the future holds,” McIntyre said. “I’m all about getting more eyeballs on WWE. That’s the biggest thing to me, and moving to Peacock, that’s going to be a whole lot of eyeballs on WWE. But if there’s an opportunity that would put more eyes on the product, I’m all about it.”
McIntyre has, however, named the exception he’ll hear a pitch for, Zombie Braveheart.
“If somebody makes Braveheart 2: The Rise of Wallace, we take all the body parts of Wallace, put them back together, he comes back as Zombie Wallace and he wreaks havoc on the English, but until that day comes [acting] is not something on my radar,” McIntyre said.
For Drew McIntyre, the future definitely holds a WWE championship match at WrestleMania 37. As it stands right now, he is scheduled to challenge Bobby Lashley in Raymond James Stadium during the weekend of April 10 and 11.
