Drew McIntyre is all set to enter the ring against Damian Priest for the coveted WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt at Saturday’s WWE event, Clash at the Castle: Scotland.

Discussing the upcoming match with representatives from the Indian Express, McIntyre, also known as The Scottish Warrior, expressed that this might be the most monumental match of his professional wrestling career.

Looking back at his journey, McIntyre said, “Reflecting on my biggest achievements, especially in WWE, my premiere world championship win occurred amidst the pandemic, with no spectators around. The second time I held the world championship was very similar, the event happened at ThunderDome. The last Clash at the Castle is memorable – it occurred in Wales, in the UK where I hail from. Everything was perfect, until the moment Solo Sikoa made his entrance and dashed my chances of winning the title.”

He then declared emphatically, “Now, we have another go. Not merely in Wales or in the UK, but specifically in my homeland, Scotland. I never dreamt of being in a main event of a major WWE PLE and competing for the world championship. This time, I am determined to make it right.”
