Drew McIntyre was no fan of the recent WWE Draft which saw only a handful of Superstars actually move from one brand to another.
McIntyre was selected by Monday Night RAW (his pre-draft brand) and was selected after CM Punk was picked by RAW (who had also been on Raw before the draft.)
On a recent edition of “The Pat McAfee Show” podcast, McIntyre didn’t hold back when speaking about the promotion’s annual shake-up. He said,
“I don’t know the right word for it. It’s just — this is stupid. This is actually stupid… It doesn’t even make me angry, it just perplexed me.”
Out of the total 56 picks made in the televised and supplemental drafts, only 23 saw a Superstar change brands, equivalent to just 41% of selections.
