Experienced WWE star Drew McIntyre hadn’t made an appearance since Bad Blood in October until he made an emphatic return on last week’s WWE RAW.
During his interaction with the reputed KWCH-12 Morning News, he shed some light on his hiatus. His statement read:
“For the past two months, I was absent. My final match before hiatus was a Hell in a Cell match, which was extremely savage. At a point in the match, I was struck on my head that required sixteen staples to close the resulting wound on the top of my head. Simultaneously, I faced a loss in the family and had to fly back to Scotland to take part in the bereavement and reassess my commitment levels. The realization dawned upon me that my career had been prioritized way too much over my family. It’s been a 17-year long period of intense dedication, and it’s about time I put myself first. With a renewed perspective, I’ll fight and defeat my deserving opponents.”
