WWE sensation Drew McIntyre has openly expressed his admiration for rising TNA Wrestling star Joe Hendry.
Currently, Hendry is riding the wave of popularity in TNA’s roster, a status he has attained due to his wrestling skills and catchy tunes, including his theme song ‘I Believe in Joe Hendry.’
In a recent interaction with Cultaholic Wrestling, McIntyre voiced his support for his fellow Scot, stating,
“I do believe in Joe Hendry. I do. He’s prospering and I’m profoundly proud of him, notably for getting his song so high on the charts and sparking the buzz he’s sparked. He’s long been deserving of a huge opportunity, and thankfully he’s managed to display his skills on IMPACT. I firmly believe his career trajectory is on the rise. His potential is sky-high. He is a master of all trades.
“He’s extremely skilled in the wrestling ring and equally effective on the microphone. His videos are absolutely world-class. I’m certain the fans of this channel have stumbled upon the ‘I’m Drew’ video, a spin-off of [Eiffel 65’s] ’I’m Blue’. If you’re yet to see it, do look it up. I hope this snippet makes it to the wrestling forums because everything I say ends up there [laughs].”
Lately, Hendry has been involved in the TNA Digital Media Championship. Meanwhile, McIntyre is set to compete for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Clash At The Castle: Scotland.
