Dralistico is thrilled to see Dragon Lee achieving success in WWE these days.
Speaking during a recent interview with TJ Sports, the AEW wrestler commented on his brother winning the WWE NXT North American Championship and being called up to the main WWE roster. He said,
“Honestly, Dragon Lee is a young talent because he is the youngest of us, we beat him in experience. He has done things well, and he is an athlete to every extent of the work. I am glad he has not gotten injured because he has all the desire, the youth, the English.”
He continued, “During his run in CMLL, he was constantly on excursions in Japan & United States, which helped him learn the style and he is like a dog in his home. He is very happy, and having our younger brother is the pride of the family. We (Himself & RUSH) had our moments, but do not discard that the three of us are in one of the two biggest companies.”
In other news, Joey Janela claims that he’s not interested in joining another wrestling company with a TV show right now.
Janela, who often competes for GCW and other indie promotions, spoke with “MuscleManMalcolm” and said he’s content with working on the independent circuit for the time being. He said,
“There’s been people hitting me up, but I told them I’m not interested at the moment because I want to do indies, and GCW’s more important to me than a lot of this stuff. It was sometimes painful to be in an AEW locker room, to be watching a GCW show or something in the locker room, like a weirdo, like, ‘F**k, I miss this.’ But it didn’t last long. Soon as I realized I could still do independents, I started doing them again, but then COVID happened, and that was a whole different situation.”
