Former WWE and OVW wrestler Doug Basham retired from pro wrestling this past weekend after wrestling his final match against Kal Herro as part of this year’s Great Lakes Championship Wrestling ‘Blizzard Brawl’ event in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Basham lost to Herro, as he wanted to put over Herro and give him the honor of retiring him.

The event featured several exciting matches, including Ragnar The Ruthless defeating Deget Bundlez, TW3 emerging victorious in a Fatal 4-Way Match against Joe Alonzo, Jordan Kross, and Luke Kurtis, and Drew Hernandez defeating Heath Slater. Tony Gunn also secured a win against Psycho Boy Fodder with the assistance of Angelina Love.
Cash Flo and Mike Curkov teamed up to defeat Jay Dinero and Koda Jacobs. In the GLCW Heavyweight Title Match, Shawn Spears successfully defended his title against Backwoods Brown. Leila Grey retained her GLCW Women’s Title by defeating Renee Michelle and Harley Jane, with former WWE star Alicia Fox serving as the guest referee. Additionally, in an NWA Championship Match, EC3 successfully defended his title against Matt Cardona.
