Eighteen WWE Superstars were released on November 4, and Doudrop is specifically “heartbroken” by Eva Marie‘s departure.

The two women worked together, first as allies and later as rivals, during their time together on WWE RAW. They’ve gone their separate ways in recent weeks, and WWE wrote Marie out of TV when Shayna Baszler brutally attacked her on the September 27 episode of WWE RAW.

In a new interview with Alistair McGeorge of Metro.co.uk, the former NXT UK star explained that she’s sad to see Marie go. She called the former Total Divas star a big sister and praised her kind personality.

“Honestly, I’m absolutely heartbroken because that woman is a big sister to me,” said Doudrop. “Behind the scenes, she is the nicest person you will ever meet… Every single person, she’s got a funny story with them. I just love her so much.”

Doudrop also expressed her hope that Marie will make her way back to WWE at some point, as she noted that you never know what’s going to happen in the wild world of wrestling.

“I hope it’s not the last we’ve seen of her in WWE, I think she’s amazing,” said Doudrop. “When you see her in real life, you’re like… you’re amazing at being a heel. But time will tell – who knows what will happen in this crazy world?”

Recently, Doudrop has been an active member of the women’s division on WWE RAW. She made it to the finals of the Queen’s Crown Tournament at WWE Crown Jewel, where she lost to Zelina Vega.
