Donald Trump: Independent Contractors That Lost Their Job Due To COVID-19 Can Receive Full Salary Up To 4 Months

Professional wrestlers might find some financial relief from WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump.
The President of the United States announced today that aid will be coming to those that are losing their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Rather than just employees, independent contractors will also be eligible. Considering pro wrestlers are contractors rather than employees, this is a major factor for them.
“The average worker who has lost his or her job will receive 100 percent of their salary for up to 4 full months,” said Trump. “Unlike normal unemployment benefits, independent contractors & the self-employed will be eligible.”
