In a recent interview with “Khel Now TV”, WWE superstar Dominik Mysterio revealed that he’s not vying for the WWE Intercontinental Championship in a multi-participant contest at WrestleMania 41. Instead, his priority is to throw his weight behind Finn Balor so as to facilitate his win.

“I am altogether out of that equation,” Dominik maintained. “For now, the focus is purely on enabling Finn to clinch the IC title. I feel like I owe him that. Let’s see what the future holds.”

Further, in the most recent episode of the “SHAK Wrestling” podcast, Dean Muhtadi, the popular wrestling figure known as Mojo Rawley, shed light on the transition to an administrative role as talent manager with Paragon Talent Group and his encounters while negotiating talent contracts with his ex-WWE superiors.

The podcast touched on several notable points:

In regard to negotiating contracts for his clients with WWE: “In the initial stages, it was intriguing interacting with those who were previously my superiors and discussing contracts from a different perspective. However, certain organizations are reluctant to communicate with an agent. They’re apprehensive that it might cost them. But if the agent is efficient, he can help his talent/script a more rewarding deal.”

On dealing with not-so-good agents: “I have faced my fair share of inefficient agents and that’s the reason we decided to get into contract handling. Hearing the disappointing experiences of talents who had inked deals, oblivious of their quality, was disturbing. It left them regretting how they left a lot of money and opportunity unexplored. Knowing that these clauses could have been negotiated is distressing as they are locked in it for three to five years, sometimes even their last contract.”

On the stressful nature of the job: “Being an agent can be quite nerve-racking. At times, it becomes a tussle at certain levels with certain individuals, but that’s the nature of the game. As long as you get your people to where they ought to be and everyone walks home satisfied, you’ve succeeded. It’s essential to set aside your ego and put your talent first.”
