The spontaneous kiss between Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan during WWE SmackDown 2024 was not a scripted moment, the ‘Dirty’ Superstar confessed.
The unexpected lip-lock between Mysterio and Morgan took place post Morgan’s title defense against Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s World Championship at the star-studded Cleveland event during August.
In a recent episode of the podcast “Insight”, Mysterio gave an insight into the on-the-spot decision to kiss Morgan.
“No, I had no idea [I’d do it.] I didn’t even know I was going to grab her face. It was such an in-the-moment kind of thing. To be honest, the thought of kissing her didn’t cross my mind until just a couple of hours beforehand. It was a personal call. I wanted to keep my plans under wraps, though Finn might have had a hunch. But yeah, I wasn’t really contemplating it and then it suddenly happened.”
Post SummerSlam, Morgan and Mysterio have been seen together frequently on-screen, with ‘Dirty Dom’ providing consistent assistance to Liv during her title defense matches.
In the forthcoming episode of WWE RAW, Mysterio is set to challenge a former World Champion, potentially earning a title battle with GUNTHER should he come out victorious.
