Dominik Mysterio, in this week’s episode of Logan Paul’s podcast, took a humorous dig at the host by bringing up Paul’s notorious incident in Japan. To take you back, in 2017, Paul stirred up quite a controversy. He shared a video of himself in the Aokigahara Forest, notorious for its high suicide incidence. The video showed a lifeless body hanging from a tree, Paul’s laughter echoed in disbelief. Following the backlash, his YouTube account faced demonetization.
In the recent session of Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast, known as “Dirty Dom”, Mysterio recalled WWE’s latest Japan trip, drawing a veiled reference to Paul’s misadventure in the country. Mysterio playfully stated, “I’ve been very fortunate to witness the globe through this profession. I returned from Japan last week. It was indeed a pleasure. We relished the visit. Have you guys ever journeyed to Japan? Never been?”
As Paul expressed his commitments keeping him from the tour, Mysterio, teasing further, retorted, “I’m merely verifying. I wasn’t sure if you were shadow-banned… Perhaps you made it to a certain list?” Paul clarified later that he was permitted to enter Japan post the debacle but didn’t get an invitation thereafter.
