Rey Mysterio’s entry to WWE Hall of Fame is not justified, according to his son, Dominik Mysterio.
Dominik Mysterio expressed his thoughts on his father Rey’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, Michael Cole, and the possibility of a match with Pat McAfee in a recent interview with “Insight With Chris Van Vliet”. The wrestler, otherwise known as “Dirty Dom”, used the platform to express his disapproval and even aimed a few criticisms towards his father and Cole.
Here are a few key points raised by Dominik during the podcast:
About leaving his dad’s induction to WWE Hall of Fame: “I don’t think he was deserving enough. I recall exiting the induction primarily because I felt conflicted. I don’t see him as eligible for the Hall of Fame, not right now at least. He might earn that right once he loses to me and surrenders his mask. However, I don’t hold the authority to make that decision.”
Addressing Michael Cole: “I have major issues with Michael Cole. In my eyes, he is the most prejudiced person I’ve ever known. Every time I make an appearance on TV, all he does is rant about me. Even in my absence, he speaks ill of me. Despite my constant deals with his criticism, I believe in my capabilities … Maybe, he’s envious that I still have a full head of hair. I would love to go one-on-one with him. Michael is yet to lose at WrestleMania. I wouldn’t mind giving him a good fight.”
Talking about a potential match with Pat McAfee: “I don’t believe he’s brave enough to face me in the ring, so he has opted for commentating now. Yet, if Pat ever steps up to the challenge, he knows where to catch me.”
