In his most recent discussion with Netflix, WWE superstar Dominik Mysterio shed light on his evolution into a villain, a transformation that took off with his shocking betrayal of his father at the debut Clash at the Castle event. With his actions, Mysterio has invited resounding disapproval from fans, a reaction he revealed to be most content with. Focusing on carving a distinct picture for himself in the WWE, the wrestler confessed to taking amusement from his heinous on-screen persona, relishing the liberty it offered in terms of words and actions.

He stated, “I enjoy being a bad guy. I feel like I have more liberty in what I can do, say, and get away with. I feel like I’m pushing the boundaries a little bit more. This might sound terrible, but kids and their dads will show up to events and I’m like, ‘Is that your dad? He’s probably a deadbeat too.’ So it’s just getting to have more fun with them other than being a good guy. I’ve witnessed that my whole life with my dad. I wanted to do something different with the Mysterio name.”

Mysterio further elaborated on his journey, acknowledging the invaluable insights and guidance he received from his father during his early bouts. However, he emphasized his desire to step out from his father’s shadow and present his own capabilities.

Meanwhile, legendary wrestler Bret Hart lent his wisdom on the infamous “I Quit” match at WrestleMania 13 between him and Steve Austin, against the backdrop of “The Ariel Helwani Show” . Hart reminisced about the match, downplaying the havoc and controversy it generated back then.

The wrestler disclosed, “No animals were harmed in the making of that movie. It was fun. It was fun when we came back. Even the blood, which was a big no-no at the time. When we came back, we pretended, in the dressing room, to have a heated argument about it. Almost a scuffle. We also kind of got into it again. Chief Jay Strongbow was kind of pulling us apart or pulling me away from him. It was mostly to cover our tracks so we didn’t get anyone into trouble, that (the blood) was an accident. We had to fool everybody. The persons who knew about the blood were me and Steve. We kept that pretty much a secret…it would have been a secret for years until I wrote about it in my book.”

The WWE RAW’s latest episode on Netflix, which aired on March 31st, drew 2.9 million global views, ranking eighth internationally and securing a spot in the top 10 in eight different countries.

This accounts for a minor drop from the previous week’s count of 3 million views. The March 31st spectacle had been broadcasted live at 3 PM EST owing to its UK-based event locale.
