On a recent episode of the “ESPN Daytona” podcast, professional wrestler Dominik Mysterio shared his intentions to reconcile with fellow wrestler Rhea Ripley on an upcoming episode of WWE RAW. Mysterio, who refers to himself as “Dirty Dom”, spoke candidly about his feelings after a recent match victory, saying he felt on top of the world until his mood dropped significantly as events unfolded.

Mysterio explained further, saying, “Before all this happened, I felt like I was about a nine or a ten just from beating that other guy alone, not even taking Liv into account. But then Mami’s music started playing, and things took a turn. Now, I feel like I’m at a one or a two. I’ve been trying to patch things up with her, but she has been avoiding me so far. However, she can’t avoid me on Mondays, so that’s when I’m going to do my best to make things right.”

In other wrestling news, AJ Styles won against Naomichi Marufuji at the Pro Wrestling NOAH DESTINATION 2024 event on Friday night. After the match, in a “Digital Exclusive” segment, Styles expressed his admiration for Marufuji. He acknowledged Marufuji’s talent and class, attributing his own success to the excellent match given by his opponent.

“If anyone can be considered ‘phenomenal’ in the same vein as me, it would have to be Marufuji,” Styles stated. “The match pushed my limits, and he showed his experience. The match was tough and he gave me more than I expected. I have to admit I was pushed hard. It was certainly not a walk in the park. And I must state that the fans, especially the Japanese fans who are some of the best in the world, often make the match.”
