Dominik Dijakovic Beats Killian Dain, Earns Title Shot Against Keith Lee

Dominik Dijakovic took down Killian Dain in a match tonight, earning himself a shot at Keith Lee for the NXT North American Championship at the upcoming NXT TakeOver: Portland. Dijakovic’s victory came with another show of force, as he very easily overpowered Dain en route to the win. After the victory, Keith Lee came out to meet Dijakovic at the ramp, and while many thought the two would get into a brawl, Lee simply shook the hand of his future opponent, showing the respect that he has for the bruiser.

Dain takes an early advantage. After the break, Dijakovic lands a choke bomb for a near fall. Dijakovic goes up top but Dain cuts Dijakovic off. Dain hits a superplex off the top. Dijakovic kicks Dain in the face. Dain kicks Dijakovic in the face. Dain and Dijakovic kick each other in the face at the same time. Dijakovic lands on Dain but only gets a two count. Dijakovic misses a moonsault. Dain shotgun dropkicks Dijakovic. Dain sets up a Vader Bomb. Dijakovic hooks Dain’s leg to stop him from hitting the Vader Bomb. Dijakovic picks Dain up off the top rope and lands Feast Your Eyes for the win.
