At WWE Clash of Champions, Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler defeated Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman to win the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship. After the match, in a WWE Exclusive, the new champions celebrated their glorious victory. “We’re the best things going today,” said Ziggler.

“We just went out there and we defeated the Universal Champion and possibly the next Universal Champion,” said Roode. “We are the champions.”

Cedric Alexander Disappointed in Missed U.S. Title Opportunity

While Roode and Ziggler had a successful night, Cedric Alexander wasn’t as fortunate. He lost his match against WWE United States Champion AJ Styles. After the defeat, in a WWE Exclusive, Alexander shared his disappointment. “This moment was supposed to be everything I dreamed for,” said Alexander. “And I failed. I’m disappointed in myself. I’m disappointed that I let down my friends, my family, my mom, who’s sitting in the front row and watched my very first match.” Alexander vowed to eventually take the championship from AJ Styles.
